Conveyancing Fraternity Restrictive Conditions Applicable to Sectional Titles

Kindly note that the Deeds Registry, Pretoria, has issued a ruling that in future it will only allow and accept a notarial deed which makes provision for a number to be inserted by the deed’s office.

The former practice of allowing notarial deeds to refer to a deed “about to be registered” must be discontinued with immediate effect and the deeds office code and a blank space must be inserted.
